The VCU chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists will hold its first meeting of the fall semester at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, in the Mass Comm Library (Room 2219 of the Temple Building).

SPJ provides professional development, networking and other opportunities for students planning journalism careers (broadcast, online and print). It is open to all majors.
